Physician from AUSTRALIA reported ASCORBIC ACID problem on Mar 03, 2008. Female patient, 16 years of age, was diagnosed with iron overload and was treated with ASCORBIC ACID. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: hepatic siderosis, hypophosphataemia, urine phosphate increased, urine protein/creatinine ratio increased, . ASCORBIC ACID dosage: 500 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERAL. Patient recovered.
