This case suggests a potential Tasigna Dyspnoea side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 68-year-old patient from IT (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): chronic myeloid leukaemia transformation and used Tasigna (dosage: 600 Mg, Daily) starting Dec 31, 2012. Soon after starting Tasigna the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Pleural Effusion
  • Dyspnoea
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Valsartan (40 Mg, Unk)
  • Furosemide (25 Mg, Unk)
  • Canrenone (100 Mg, Unk)
  • Doxazosine (4 Mg, Unk)
  • Dutasteride (0.5 Mg, Unk)
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Tasigna demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Dyspnoea, may still occur.

  • Estratest
  • Glyburide
  • Pravastatin Sodium (40 Mg, Nightly)
  • Lisinopril (15 Mg, Bid)
  • Triamtereen/hydrochloorthiazide (Unk Ukn, Unk)
  • Metformin Hcl
  • Fenofibrate
  • Lantus (90 U, Nightly)
  • When commencing Tasigna, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Alopecia
    • Decreased Appetite
    • Rash
    • Weight Decreased

Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Arterial Disorder
    • Chest Pain
    This opens a possibility that Tasigna could cause Chest Pain and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
