TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) problem was reported from MI on July 02, 2007. Female patient , 80 years of age, was vaccinated with TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) on June 25, 2007. "LA was hurting. Started 2 days after injection. Patient called doctor about pain. Doctor said possibly from administration. Patient came in to pharmacy today to pick up pain meds. Looked at arm 1/8 inch bruise at injection site. About 2 1/2 inch circumference bruise on upper posterior arm, when patient questioned, claimed been there for many months, by hitting a shelf. (Questionable: outer bruise, brown, yellowish, white center did not look new). Unrelated hospital visit because of knee abrasion looked infected. Switch Levaquin to Augmentin.". "VICODIN, AUGMENTIN, CYMBALTA, WELLBUTRIN XL, PROPANOLOL". "Hypertension, Depression". Patient recovered.

Patient took Benadryl PO at home, then went to the ED in Opelousas where they gave her Benadryl IM, Tylenol and an ice pack for her arm.". "Takes Prozac daily. Patient also had a TB skin test, Mantoux Tuberculin, Lot # C2513AB, given in the left arm intradermal.". Sulfa and Latex Powder. Patient recovered.

TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) problem was reported from MN on July 19, 2007. Female patient , 49 years of age, was vaccinated with TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) on July 12, 2007. Received DPT vaccine on 6-4-07 during routine physical. Shortly thereafter began experiencing excruciatingly painful muscle and joint pain in all extremities and back as well as losing strength in arms hands and legs. Most intense pain was in upper arms and thighs. Lost all strength in hands and arms and went to urgent care on 6-25-07; given script for pain referred to my primary MD. Have been confined to bed since then.. Ambien CR 12.5 mg per daily; Cymbalta 30 mg 3 x per day. Osteoarthritis/Fibromyalgia/Degenerative Disk Disease/Depression. Patient recovered.

Patient was given antibiotic for cellulitis of toe/wound also. 6-22-07 Patient reported redness and swelling of right arm where Td was given; seen by doctor here - 11 cm induration and redness - resolved. . Ceftin; Darvocet; Sulfa; Disk disease; Fibromyalgia; Gastritis. Patient recovered.

"Rash with puritis started 7/18/2007. Initially mother thought they were bug bites. Mother describes as red raised bumps with white spots in middlesome as big as 1/4"" across on arms, legs and back. Benadryl given and not real helpful, decreased itching somewhat. some have faded. four other siblings had similar rash. One receved Td, one Received Tdap, two recevied DTaP". . None known. "15 min after injection, pt c/o tightness in his throat; vital signs - P 72 regular - B/P 100/?, skin warm to touch. No difficulty in breathing. Color good. Given Benadryl 50mg PO 9:25 - 15 min later - P 74 - B/P 120/90 - color good - 10 AM - no problems. Checked via phone with friend ""no problems"" 6 hrs later.". . Allergic to erythromycin. Patient recovered.

Seen by me again 08-13-07 in office; had approx 7 cm diam. swollen, tender, erythematous area (R) shoulder/deltoid". "Verapamil, Plavix, Diovan, HCTZ, Lexapro, Xanax, Prilosec". TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) problem was reported from TX on Aug 20, 2007. Female patient , 55 years of age, was vaccinated with TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) on Aug 20, 2007. Client reports that on the second day after the vaccination she developed severe pain and weakness in the right arm where she received the Td injection. She describes the weakness as so severe that she had difficulty picking up light objects. She ran a fever of 101 degrees. She did not seek medical attention. The symptoms improved over a 4 day period. No long-term adverse effects remain.. "Lamictal, Celexa, Amitzia". "Penicillin, Bipolar Disorder, Irritable Bowel Syndrome". Patient recovered.

TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) problem was reported from TX on Aug 21, 2007. Female patient , 55 years of age, was vaccinated with TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) on Aug 21, 2007. "Client received a Td injection IM in left deltoid on 8/13/2007 following stepping on a piece of glass in her yard. On 8/15/07 she reported to another health unit with erythema, edema & local heat of the Left deltoid area and a headache. The next day she returned with the erythema, edema, heat which had spread distally from the deltoid area and a pustule at site of injection. She was referred to her MD but did not go. She returned here on 8/17/07 but the erythema and edema had subsided from deltoid but was still evident on upper arm near axilla. Client informed me that she had run a fever of at least 101 degrees for three days after receiving the vaccine. She was referred to her MD again and did go on this date. Her MD placed her on an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medication and today she is much improved. She says she had good mobility in the arm during this episode and she did continue to come to work.". "Norvasc, Allegra, Nexium, Synthroid, HCTZ". "No known drug allergies, dust & molds". Patient recovered.

"This case was received from a consumer in the United States on 13 August 2007. A 41-year-old female patient with a history of asthma, seasonal allergies, penicillin allergy, and varicose veins, received a right deltoid injection of Decavac (lot number U1953U) on 08 July 2007 for a ""dirty wound"". Two days later, on 10 July 2007, she began experiencing sharp pain in the left lower back, left eye ""fuzzy"". . . Patient recovered.

The next day nausea continued and all joints including lumbar spine were incredibly stiff and sore and unable to bend. Stiffness and soreness took 3 days before joints would move normally.". . Allergy to sulfa drugs. Patient recovered.

Synthroid 0.125mg one-half tablet by mouth every other Sunday. Axert 12.5mg by mouth unknown frequency as needed. Naproxen Sodium 550mg by mouth unknown frequency as needed. Zyrtec 10 mg by mo. "Eczema/Psoriasis Migraine headache Hepatitis A, age 13. Hyperthyroidism, treated 1998 with radioactive therapy, now on replacement. GERD, resolved. Hernia surgery after pregnancy, 2004 surgically repaired. Blood transfusion - No, Traveled". Patient recovered.

TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) problem was reported from NJ on Sept 21, 2007. Female patient , 65 years of age, was vaccinated with TD ADSORBED (NO BRAND NAME) on Sept 17, 2007. "9/10/07 Extreme pain - slight swelling ate site. 9/11/07 Pain, swelling, site very hot. 9/12/07 Pain less but swelling more severe with itchiness. Swollen site about 2 inches. 9/15/07 Itchiness and swelling subsiding.". . . Patient recovered.
